Kathleen Potter Kelliher
Mrs. Kelliher, a native of northern Connecticut, was born into a family of artists. Her late father, Ellis W. Potter, was a freelance commercial illustrator and Master oil painter. Her mother, Helen Sharp Potter, is also a Master oil painter. Kathleen studied art at the Baum School in Allentown, Pennsylvania and has studied with John Osborn, Frank Mason, Donald Demers, Louis Guarnaccia and Helen Sharp Potter.
Kathleen moved to Nantucket Island to live, year round, in 1984. Her work can be found in collections across the United States, Canada and Europe. She is an associate member of the Oil Painters of America and member of the Artists Association of Nantucket. Kathleen's credits include: Cape Cod Life Magazine, 2003; American Society of Marine Artists, Regional Exhibits 2004 and 2006; Oil Painters of America Regional Exhibit 2004.
